The subject landholding occupies an important strategic location to the west side of Selby Town Centre, forming a sustainable potential new housing extension for the town.

The total area is approx. 55 acres (22.26 Ha) of which approx. 11 acres (4.45 Ha) forms part of the current Local Plan housing allocation Ref SEL1. This overall allocation takes in adjoining landownerships.

Access is proposed to be taken from Leeds Road, from where there are reservations secured via option agreement with adjoining landowners.

Scope of Project

Fordy Marshall are retained to negotiate a Landowners Agreement and to negotiate an agreement with a Developer to fund and manage the promotion of the site.

The ultimate purpose being to achieve a planning consent to develop the combined landholdings for new housing development, and to sell the land on the best terms achievable in the open market.
