Scope of Project
Fordy Marshall acted as joint agent to Strutt and Parker in advising the Ripon Farmers Livestock Mart Co Ltd in reviewing the disposal options for this edge of town centre site, extending to approximately 3.67 acres.
Originally allocated as a housing development due to potential underlying gypsum issues, and failed planning applications, we recommended alternative development options for this prime, brownfield site. This resulted in securing planning consent in November 2017 to develop the site as a Park Homes scheme, for 32 Residential Caravans.
The property was taken to the open market in January 2018, with targeted marketing to the caravan/Park Homes sector.
The sale was completed in December 2018.
